 ShirleyTthe story about X painting the roof.....
 
 He came down on a Saturday evening and stayed the night. Not sure he was too happy about sleeping on the cot, but I wasn t concerned.
 
 Sunday we get up and I go talk to my aunt for a bit. I come back and he is watching a movie (one he had started watching the previous night). He says he will paint after he finishes the movie. I say " okay"  and out I go to do some touch up painting.
 
 I go back in and he has put another movie in...says my daughter wanted him to watch it with her. I stay calm (as the temperature outside rises) and go back out to paint some more. I go in every now and then to cool off. He never folded the cot up. So I fold up the cot and put it in the loft (figured that might give him a hint that he wasn t staying another night). Besides there wasn t room to walk around, he was using the cot as a foot stool while he was watching the movie. I go back out and do some work around the cabin (ya know spray the poison ivy, pick up branches, stuff like that).
 
 I got back in and he has put in ANOTHER movie, said " well I watched the mummy, so now I have to see what happens when it returns" . By this time I am almost fuming. I like to get my work done early so I can rest during the heat of the day. Obviously he doesn t. My aunt comes back from church and hollers " I STILL SEE THE ROOF! WHAT S GOING ON??"  So I go down and talk to her and piddle around at her place and get somethings done. Then finally he comes out and is ready to paint. By this time it is close to 4pm.
 
 
 
 After he gets one coat on he smiled and said " well I can do another coat on the next trip down" . My thought was " who invited you to come back" . I just told him " I think one coat will be sufficient" . He is now trying to invite himself to my house, which I am able to get out of rather quickly and smoothly.
 
 He did call the other night to ask when WE were going down the the lake again. I told him " well the family has a trip planned in about a week and a half" . He replies " oh okay I will come down there and put another coat on the roof" . To which I replied " I am not going to work when we go down, it is too hot this time of year" . And then I refused to give him an exact date of when we are going, I really don t know myself when we are going.

 ShirleyTDefinitely not the type you would want to hang around. If I were her, I had taken my daughter out to help me, and the tv would fall on the floor, or electricity would get cut or something. Definitely ..... And the nerves he has, next time he comes. I hate man(or woman)  behaving this bad ......

 It is quite all right, at least I was able to get the whole story off my chest! [:D][:D]
 
 As far as marriage goes...I do not want anyone lazier than me...and that is pretty darn lazy!!

 Is there and outside power disconnect? I got real PO d at my ex and the kids one time, we were supposed to have a family work/clean up day, that was to start at 0800 on a Saturday morning, by about 930 I was the only one outside doing anything at all, amazingingly enough the power just happend to go out...via the main disconect switch on the meter[:D] Gee the power must have gone out, now you will have to come out and work[;)]

 birolTried that, didn t work. Time for bolt cutters and rust proof locks! I have two locks for the electric. One on the cabin and one at the pole.

 birolEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKK, did you soak it with WD40 ? that usually takes care of it ....... be careful cutting that thing off !
