Ok guys, its camping season out west, or at least part of the west. I just got back from a 2 week trip to Baja, weather was great, water was warm, margaritas were cold. When I got back, it was snowing... go figure. We are trying to get motivated to camp in the next few weeks, so I am trying to come up with a Road Trip CD. Let me know your favorite TWO road trip songs. Mine are Jimmy Buffets (and anything else by him) cover of Mexico and Radar Love. by Golden Earring. Looking forward to your suggestions!!

tahoecampersI just burned a CD that I think I m going to wear out.  I burned some tunes by Joe Walsh in his solo days and with the James Gang.  Awsome.... Also, we are big Jimmy Buffet fans and have every CD he has made.  I have also downloaded many rare songs that he has done..... some obsene and some hilarious, some just different.   I also have JB (Jimmy Buffett) live in concert.  You can record his concerts live from his radio margaritaville site.  JB rules.

Others in my CD wallet include Eric Clapton, Keb Mo, Willie Nelson, Eagles, The Who, Crosby/Seals/Nash/Young, Jimmy Hendrix, John Cougar Mellencamp, Bruce Springstein, Billy Joel, Michelle Branch,  John Mayer......

tahoecampersOK, now every body will probably say " WHO?"  but I still like listening to Leon Russell, and the favorite cd is " the best of Leon Russell with all the old Shelter People songs.    Bikolee, I know you remember this.
But for traveling, Chicago is good too, and sorry, but I still like to sing along with the Dixie Chicks and won t change my mind about them for anyone.
