This is probably the wrong forum for this but I just have to whine a little.    We are not camping yet.  We haven t even gotten around to opening our camper up yet.  First off, the weather here in MI has been strange, and on the days that we don t have time to mess with the camper, it s beautiful.  On the days when we might have plenty of time to set up and clean and rearrange, it s cold and rainy.   We ve had two deaths in the family in the past month, so alot of our energies have gone into grieving and mourning.   (One funeral was in GA, with the burial in South Carolina, so that took some creative travel arrangements.)   Our PU hasn t seen daylight since our deer hunting trip in November.   And DH, DS and a friend were the last ones in it.   I m definitely scared to open it and find what kind of mess might have been closed up in there.   But, maybe as a Mother s Day gift, my family will open and clean out the PU for me.    Or not.

wiininkweI feel your pain![:(]   We were suppose to go on our first trip last weekend but because my neck is still hurting we had to postpone.  We are hoping to leave this Saturday for a Mother s Day weekend camping and I m hoping my neck can stand the 3 hr car ride!!  I ll be bringing ice packs, heating pad and neck pillow.  I m determined to get on the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:)]

wiininkweWell, I hope you get to go camping soon, sounds like you deserve it! We head out two weeks from today! In those two weeks we have: I get audited tonight! (Church Treasurer) Mary has an annual School budget meeting next week (She s School Treasurer), We have our church s Annual Meeting next week, and have 3 more Sundays to get the Sunday School & Youth Group ready for Children s Day. I am ready to go camping!!!
Maybe your DH & DS will read your post and clean out the camper for you!! You could always kind of just accidently print it out and leave it where they would find it and read it. You may want to change the title! I used to title anything I WANTED the kids to read " NUDE PICTURES"  That got a teenagers attention real fast! Inside there was a list of jobs I wanted them to do!

wiininkweLife does get in the way sometimes! The weather has really held our season off this year-that, along with the kid s school schedules, work continuing on the house and my husband s call outs.

Hopefully, we ll have a nice fall and be able to camp later into the year.

wiininkweI will think of you when we are camping this weekend.  Hopefully you will be out camping soon.  I would let your DH and DS know what you want for mothers day.[;)]

wiininkweSorry to hear about your losses.  I hope you re able to enjoy your camper soon.

Can you recall last year at this time...let me refresh your memory...I have three kids right...guess what their mother s day present was to me...that s right...the chicken pox!  First Samantha, than 10 days later Jeff then 10 days later Greg!  Oi was I up to here with sick kids.  They got better and we did get out (scars and all) and on our first trip we learned that when you roast marshmellows on cool evenings, you should take off your mittens, [:o]very sticky.[:D]

wiininkweI feel for you Toni!  We just opened our pop-up Sunday afternoon, and there it is.  No trips planned yet.  Although I would like to go to CT, or RI for a weekend trip.  We need the sticker for our map!  [:o]  What a bad reason to go camping!  We are trying to get the house ready to sell next month - so there is a lot of touch-up work to do around here.  I think it ll be easier when June comes, and it s up for sale.  I ll have to ask Austin and PJay!
Soon you ll be out there!!

wiininkweI popped up the camper four weeks ago for the fun of it and cleaned/de-winterized it.  Closed it back up a couple days later cause I heard it was going to rain.

Been snowing/raining ever since.  Hasn t got up to 60 Deg F yet.  My whole family feels " flu-ish" .  Need heat and sunshine!  Can t complain about the needed moisture.....and I won t.  Just wish we could get away for a couple of overnighters.  Can t even do Mods cause it s to darn cold and windy after work and the weekends have sucked.  Barely get the lawn mowed before it rain/snows again.  No yard work done.  Oh well, sunny days are ahead ......I hope.
