RE: Our second trip of the year

We will be leaving at 1530 today for a 5 hour drive to a New York State Park.  It will be with a great group of COTOCians.  We will tell you about it when we get back.

I hope it doesn t rain, we are going to have a lot of rain this weekend, There is a small rally at Bronton (sp?), I hope they don t get wet too much [&:]

We had a great time on the trip.  For the first time it did NOT rain on a group trip. []  My group didn t get there until after 8 PM Friday night.  I had a bunch of help setting up the PU, (thanks everyone).  I didn t do much Friday night, but we sat around Rick s fire and relaxed.  Saturday morning I had an early wake up from 2 kids on a site between ours and Kathybrj s.  I did complain to a ranger that night and it was much quieter Sunday morning.  We went on a short hike to the site of the Catskill Mountain House.  The view from there was breath taking.  We had a pot luck dinner Saturday night and all I can say was I ate too much and I don t think I was the only one.  Everything was delicious.  I did discover that the glass windows in the shower house are sort of see through (they are going to change that), so I made sure I stayed behind the curtain.[&:]  Sunday we left to come home and ran into bad weather most of the way home.
