I m waiting for my popup gizmos end covers....in addition to keep the camper cooler, I m hoping for is that they ll catch the a/c drips and I won t have to wait for the canvas to dry.

I ve had someone look at the Carrier and they couldn t see how that little PVC pipe set-up (I guess it s on Tim s site???) could be attached.

Anyone with a Carrier done this or has another solution/suggestion?

sandykayakI have a short piece of PVC (two feet long)  that one side is cut off (so it is no longer a circle) most of the way along it.  The cut end is slipped under the roof and held in place by the tension between the roof and the tenting on the roof of the bunk end.

sandykayakThe Carrier unit isn t supposed to trip. It is supposed to splash the water up onto the condenser coil where it evaporates.

The Carrier unit does drip, but not as much as other RV air conditioners.  The more humid the weather the more it drips.

 Nope, not yet.

This mod is on my list this summer and I will add a page when done.  If anyone who already has some pictures wants to donate them to me I can set up the page and credit them accordingly.
