MrBuneezIf you are really committed to only doing this once.... then the drill you are looking for is this one here: (DW006)

 http://www.dewalt.com/us/products/tool_detail.asp?productID=4089

They are pricy that s for sure but you will never have to worry whether or not it will do the job.  I m glad to say that I just bought one today because the tool department gave me $100.00 off the retail purchase price!  Whoooo Hooooo!

Another alternative is also a DeWalt drill: (DW989).  It has 450 in/lbs of torque vs the 550 in/lbs of the DW006, but I understand that it will do the job.  It also has the metal gears for longer life, not cheap plastic ones.  Good luck in your search for the drill with enough power to do the job

MrBuneezi bougth a Porter&Cable 19.2 volt drill today at Lowes. it has triple reduction gears all steel gears. 1/2 chuck 470 in. pounds of torque 2 speed 0-500rpm to 0-1500 rpm.this should do the job dont you think?
has anyone ever made a homemade socket to raise the roof? mine is a square type. thanks

 Tracy and DavidTracy,

Be carefull, I beleive this has no battery or charger with it let alone the case. It also is Dewalt Factory Reconditioned. Not New New.[;)]

I must add that I have looked all over and found that they will run starting at 200 dollars with all you need to go with.

" " " Just bought a Bosch at Home Depot on specal sale, 18 V 495in-lbs 2 speed. This one will do the trick also. Lost my bid last night on e-bay. So... " " " "

The Bosch was on sale so I bought it . Now by the time I bought it with tax it was around 240 dollars and then had to buy the Socket Jenie from the camp store which is around another 30 dollars. So bottom line it is going to cost more that 100
dollars. If you can find one used like on ebay go for it......

As you can see not cheap. I bought  because of my back problems...
