RE: Poll Forum...please vote!

There are 20 polls in the [link=http://www.popuptimes.com/members/tt.asp?appid=14&tmode=1&p=1]Poll Forum[/link]. The average poll has only 54 votes, and some have as few as 11!

Looking at the top eight vote getters (not the top eight replies), six of them are mine. While I m glad there has been a lot of reponse to my polls, I d really like to see every poll get lots of votes. In addition, if you have something you would like to poll us about, you can start your own poll.

AustinBostonI usually check the the forum daily, However; I go directly to the general topic page and scan down to see if anything interests me. To be honest I almost never look at any other pages.
So in response to your thread I went to the poll page and answered the ones I thought I could. Some had choices that really didn t answer the question that was asked. I think that is why some do not get responses.

This is a real issue. It takes some planning to design a good poll. Entire college courses are taught on survey techniques and how to structure a good survey with good questions.

There is one poll I haven t answered because none of the answers available at all represent me. In at least one other, I picked one when I wanted to pick three, but couldn t.

Ok I ll take the other side -- I personally enjoy watching the preferences. Apart from seeing what the options are, I enjoy reading posts that people make. Granted, I skim thru some of them, but there has been some interesting comments made.

One poll I found interesting was the " What make of PU do you have?" . I thought there were a lot more Starcraft owners from what was posted on a previous topic (maybe old board), but it could also be that alot of people haven t posted (a little over 14% have posted to this poll).

News:
