We are thinking of picking up a used SUV to use as our TV, instead of the mini van. I ve never been comfortable using the minivan as a TV.  
 
 I seem to remember a website where you could look up tow ratings, but couldn t find it.  Can anyone direct me to the right place?

 www.trailerlife.com for late model used cars. For earlier models it becomes a little more difficult. Sometimes www.carpoint.msn.com will provide tow ratings, but I don t trust it for complete accuracy...it depends on the vehicle. If you don t find the information you need from trailerlife, just let us know what you re considering and we can do some investigating.
