Does anyone get this Magazine? The Summer copy has a very nice write up  on Loons.[] Anyways, called the Magazine today and made a sugustion on some write ups on there state parks. To visit and or camp with a listing of things to see an do within the park area. They thought it was a good idea. We will see.[]

It s a good article! My wife and I are volunteers for the Vermont Loon Recovery Project and work with Eric Hanson. It is a fun group of people! I liked the comment from Eric about people nearly causing the Loons disappearance from Vermont, and people being responsible for their comeback.
 Your suggestion on doing an article on the state parks is a good one and I hope they follow up on it! I am sure I am prejudiced but Vermont has some of the finest state parks in New England and perhaps anywhere!

  Gary, I agree with you on Vermont s state parks. Yep!, I will tell you that at times some of these places remind me of Europe. As you can tell I love the state. Can not afford it but love it. Tracing my family line back in time, My Great, Great Grandmother was from around Burrington VT. Now I know why. The state is beatuful.
 
 
   Just remembered that the Magazine was going to put an area on the web page to hear the sounds of the Loons. I was told that it was not complete yet but coming soon.
