Has anyone in the Arvee Club purchased the New mats for their camper. If so; do you like them? Is the quality good? and does it stay in place when used outside on the ground under your awing?

 Thanks for your advise?

John the BaptistJohn I had ordered mine before the store sold them, but it is the same thing.  You can stake them down if it is real windy, but I haven t.  I like mine.

OC Campers

John the BaptistWe bought our from the PUT store about 2 months ago and LOVE it!!  My husband was shaking his head and saying " I can t believe you just spent that much money on a rug" .  Well as he was shaking it out and folding it up, he was saying, wow, I think this was a good purchase.   We have now used it 4 times since we got it and it looks as good as the first day we opened the package.

The mat can be staked down if it is a windy day.

IMHO a smart buy that will last for many many years

John the BaptistOrdered ours from the PUT Store and really like it.  Used it once. We had  a lot of rain and water goes right through...no puddles.  Pine needles and dirt just shake off if it s dry...easy to sweep otherwise.  Ours stayed in place fine without even pinning it down at the four corner cromets.  Folds up to nothing when traveling.

PUT Store was geat.  Received ours almost immediately.  Just make sure you get your discout...we didn t get ours.  I sure we could have but got busy and just never pursued the issue.

John the Baptist$65 for a rug is what I thought before ordering, but I have to say it is well worth it.   It cleans extremely easy, folds like it came out of the wrapper easy, and doesn t fray like astroturf.  We ve got about 14 camping days on it and it looks as good as new.  How the dirt falls off it is really amazing!

 Buy one!

John the BaptistThanks for reminding me. I need to rinse ours after this weekend.

Ours has been well worth every penny we paid for it. The first time I used it, was after a heavy rain and the area outside the camper was muddy. Made it great for taking our shoes off and not tracking in mud. Rinses very clean and dries in no time. It s also lighter than those other rugs.

John the BaptistI used mine for the first time this weekend and loved it.  It seems " skid proof"  even when wet, opens out and folds up nicely and as the others said , the dirt just shakes off and it looks like new even after being tramped on by muddy feet.
Several other campers came over and asked where I had gotten it -- said it was the nicest they had seen.  I gave them the web site address -- so, POPUP Times -- expect more customers!

DC

 John the BaptistHello,

Since I have a 2002 Coleman Santa Fe and am going to get a Colorado Carefree Campout awning.....what size of mat should I get?  I have a 10 ft box so I would guess a 9  x 7  awning. Should I get the smaller of the two mats or the largest?  I might get an add-a-room some day.

 Thanks,

Tim5055

DCI personally would go for the bigger one.  For the minimal cost difference it gives you a much larger " clean"  area outside the door.  I also have the 10 foot box (Santa Fe) and have the smaller rug  I am thinking seriously about getting the big one also.

HersheyGirl

John the BaptistGet the big one.  I have a 10 foot awning and had got a smaller one at an RV show a couple of years ago.  I got the big one last winter and love it more.  I am using the smaller one under the bunk ends where I store stuff.  Or you can use it folded under the popup outhouse as a floor.  The possibilities are endless.  The mats are a very useful must have item.[8D][8D][8D]

John the Baptisti got the smaller one cuz i didn t want to steak my campout polls thru the rug...cuz i won t put the poles on the camper side unless its absolutely necessary.
