John the BaptistHow do you guys store them?  I thot maybe using a PVC pipe on the bumper of the camper, but if I got the big one I don t think that would work.  Unless you could fold them in half and then roll them up.  Would that work?

Thanks.....working on ordering my Campout awning today.

John the BaptistThese mats are not suited for storing in a PVC tube.  Wait until you get one, you won t believe how easily they can be handled.

Ours just goes on top of the stuff in the back of the pick up.  It weighs almost nothing at all.

John the BaptistI was able to stuff mine inside the door of the PU without any problems. It folds up small enough to fit in there and I have the 9x12 rug.

I ve used mine as a 6x12 leaving 1/3 of it folded under so that it doesn t interfere with the awning. If I ever do the awning poles with the cement base, then I can open it up to 9x12 again if I want.

 John the BaptistThanks Guys,

I m going to order my awning at lunch time today.  My wife said that if I save the labor cost of installing the awning ($50-$100) I can order the mats.  I ll get the large one.  I ve got another thread going also.  If you know of anyone who has experience in installing a Colorado Carefree Campout awning on a Coleman Santa Fe.....Let me know!  Hoping to do all this by Fathers Day!

John the BaptistI ve had mine for a while but this past weekend was the first use at the campground. I love it. It dries fast after rain, it s easy to clean and stores nicely. Our fire ring was very close to the popup and a few hot embers poped out and melted little holes in it but I think that gives it a nice broken in look.
