I would be very interested to form a camping club for the Kyiana area. Please let me know via e-amil, or in the forum.

 Thanks

John the BaptistI think it is a great idea!  Except from our experience, it would be difficult to tell a joke because depending on the side of the river you live on, the folks in the other state are usually the subject of the joke!![:D][:D]LOL

We almost went to some of the camp grounds on the Kentucky side last year but were put off by the Labor day rain.  We go back to the midwest alot to visit relatives and sometimes take the southern rout though L ville to visit some others.  We tried to join one of the more popular PU groups in the area and were refused [:@]because of where we live.....I guess everyone has there rules.  We think it would be nice to have our children be with folks from where we were  from originally and where our hearts remain.

Good luck with your effort and maybe we can join you all sometime around a campfire![:)]

John the BaptistI live in southern Indiana. I do not belong to any clubs except Arvee. I am camping with the eastern pop up club in June.

John the BaptistI grew up in Jeffersonville, IN and when I retire from the Navy in December  04, we may be moving back to the area.  A camping group sounds good and they definately are fun.

John the BaptistBeing from Cincinnati -- it s close to KY, so you can add us to the list.

We are always looking for a group to camp with.

We ll be camping at East Fork State Park (OH) (about 45min from I275 and I75 in KY) -- dates are July 10, 11, 12 & 13 --- if anyone will be in the area and are interested.

If we have a large enough group, we ll check and see if we can make reservations in the " group area"  (normally they do not accept reservations, but they do have a group area for large groups, and I assume, as they say, they d allow reservations for that area).
