 Anyone want to go camping at Halloween this year at the Pinery in Ontario?
 
 We just booked what will probably be our last trip of the year.  We did this trip last year for the first time and couldn t believe how great it was!  The whole campground get s decked out and all the kids go  trick n treating ; it s a blast.
 
 This campground is pretty close to the boarder and a lot of Americans make the trip.  So far 10 families have booked.  We re going to be in the Riverside Area, Campground 1, row 492 to 501.
 
 The more the spookier [;)]

 fivegonefishingCan t go with you, My family has already made plans to camp at Levi Jackson State Resort Park (Kentucky State Park in London, Ky)  for the weekend of October 24 and 25, 2003. We went to one last year at Otter Creek Park in Louisville, Kentucky and the KIDS loved it. We made a promise to the kids that we ll do this camping each year.
 
 If you have kids I urge you to find a local campground that offers this type of activites and go. (Most campgrounds charge a fee for activites; but it is worth the extra dollars to see the smiles and hear the laughter on you kids faces.)
 
 Big fan of Halloween Camping.............. BOO !

 fivegonefishingForgot to mention, it s the weekend of October 25th and the Pinery is north of Detroit.

 fivegonefishingJust a thought, 5....you may want to include the link to the Pinery (check the GLPUC web site for the link address, if you do not have it available) so people have a better idea where they may be heading.  In turn, you may have a greater response & more company for that weekend[8D]

 fivegonefishingWe went to Indiana Beach campground in the beginning of October and they celebrated Halloween early because they close October 15th. It was a really nice weekend. The amusment park was closed. They had a hay ride and a hauted walk and had a dance. They gave away prizes for best costums and best decorated sites.
