..in Pigeon Forge, TN is getting to know us by name.[:)]

Our first visit was on our way down to the Little River 2002 Eastern Rally.  We bought stuff then to give to PJay for her birthday.  She loves to cook, and I love to eat, so we spent waaay too much.

Last fall, when we dropped off DD#1 at Union University in Jackson, we stopped in on the way back and picked up a few things (don t remember exactly what).

We were driving by on our way to pick up our DD#1 Friday AM and I needed to get a 21st Anniversary gift for PJay.  Of course we stopped.  I got her the Camp Dutch Oven Cook Table which she really wanted to get the DO up higher (or off the picnic table).

I thought we would be all set, but no!  On the return trip, we just had to stop again and pick up a 1-pint Country Kettle and a few other little things.

Be warned...once you discover this place (it s right off I-40 in Pigeon Forge, TN), your car/truck/van just seems to want to turn that way, especially if the camp cook is driving!

Austin (how much cast iron is enough?)

The following is based (mostly) on shipping weights, not actual weights (shipping weight includes packaging and is generally rounded up to the next pound), so the real weights are less...but not necessarily much less.

 11 lbs...8"  DO
 20 lbs...12"  DO
 26 lbs...14"  DO
 3 lbs...covers for above (1 lb. each)
 2 lbs...5"  cast iron pot
 5 lbs...cast iron griddle
 7 lbs...cast iron skillet
 40 lbs...table
 2 lbs...cover for table
 3 lbs...charcoal starter
 3 lbs...cookbooks

5 lbs...Pot holders, lid stands, oversized leather gloves, tongs, etc.

Total DO & Lodge goods: 127 lbs.  I would guess the real weight to be closer to 115 lbs, or the same as a small person!

Austin (mmmm...I can smell the food now)

If you pack it all into the front storage area... you might just be able to get rid of the antisway bar!! LOL[:D] but.... it might put you over your rear axel limits too!![8D]

AustinBostonMy brother loved the DO we got him there! I really like the oven mits I bought myself (fire gloves) but I was even more impressed with the Russel Stover factory outlet next store. Now that store will add some weight to the tv![:D][8D][;)]
