 Hello,

While out last weekend I noticed a few small pinholes in the fabric above the bunks.  About the size of a cat claw!!!!!!  It rained one night we were out and they didn t leak, but you can see thru them.  What should I use to " patch"  them up.  I don t want them to get any bigger.   Boy was I ticked when I saw them.  Our camper is only a year old!!!

 Thanks,

Turn Key

DCHad some real tiny pinholes in the roof of our last PU.  Like yours, they didn t leak but I did patch them with a dab of clear silcon sealer.  Nipped it in the bud (as Barney would say[:D]) and the repair never showed.  In fact, I d forgotten about it until you mentioned it.
 Hope this helps.

DCI used the clear also. If I did it again I would use the white bathroom silicone. The clear still looks like it is a pinhole at times, my mini skylight[:D].

DCIf it s under warrenty, you could ask if it s something they would cover.
A friend had this on a different manuf. and they just ordered him new panels.
Sounds like their tent coating wasn t covering properly.

If it s not under warrenty then I d use the silicone trick, but I d ask first.

DCWe had the popup up because I was packing it for camping.  A cat had gotten on our roof, and then decided to jump off the roof onto our popup.  Right on the end with the canvas.  AAAH...I was not thrilled to say the least.  The cat left a couple of pin size holes, which didn t leak thank goodness, but I also used the clear silcone and patched it right up.  Can t even tell that I did it either.
