RE: Source for DURO tires in SE New England

I tried contacting Duro directly, but all they did was put me in touch with a distributor in Florida...a bit of a drive from Massachusetts.
 
 Anybody know where I can get Duro tires in southeastern New England?
 
 The original tires have over 20,000 miles on them and need to be replaced before the first serious trip this year.
 
 Our trailer dealer (Bradford Trailer/Brockton, MA) is generally pretty good, but they would only get already mounted tires directly from Coleman...and they won t dispose of the old ones either.  There s nothing wrong with the rims, so I can t see paying for new rims when all I need is the tires.

I thought this will be easy and I get to help out Austin. DAMN, doesn t New England have any RV tire dealers?
 Now I can find you all kinds of golf cart tire dealers right around you re place, but road rated trailer tires from Duro, not a hint.  Best I could do was like you already found was mounted tires.
 You d think at least Duro would know where their tires are going?

 There are a number of reasons for not doing this.  First, radial tires are not a good idea for trailers.  Second, for trailers, Duro really is a better brand than anyone else, so going to Goodyear is a downgrade, not an upgrade.  Third, Goodyear doesn t make a 13"  trailer tire that approaches the 1660 lb rating that my trailer needs.  Duro is the only company that makes a 1660 lb. 13"  trailer tire.
