Yep, the forecast is for SNOW here in Colorado. Its June, can you believe it?!?!?!? I came home from the mountains today, glad I didn t stay another night or more. It is even suppose to snow where I live here south of Denver tonight! I can hardly believe it, and my garden, geez...............Oh well, at least I will be home in my own warm bed tonight.

Rocky Mountain SueI would trade all this rain we have been having for snow any day, at least if you camping in the snow you can have some fun, ........no fun camping in the rain and mud!

Rocky Mountain SueI am glad we are not supposed to get snow.  I had enough this winter.

Rocky Mountain SueTry keeping warm and the towing issue is something else! Would never pull in ice and snow, not even with the best TV and snow tires! And when it melts you still get mud and muck. No thanks, I will stick with rain.

Keeping the PU warm when its under the freezing mark gets to be a challenge too![: (]

Rocky Mountain SueJust curious, Rocky Mountain Sue, -- how do you like your Xterra for towing?  I saw on your signature line you have a 2001 -- I just bought a 2003 and so far I like it very much.  I ve only towed with it once but it was smooth and comfortable -- no problems.  Just curious about your experience.
Sorry about the snow in June --  this is an odd spring -- or whatever it is.  It has been unusually cool to cold here in Southern Ohio with rain, rain, rain........ It got down to 36 degrees one night this past week!  Amazing! [: (].

Rocky Mountain SueXterra pulls pretty good, but wish I had the turbo 6, just have the 6 cyl. We pull some pretty steep grades here in Colorado and it can be slow going at the altitudes here with the grades. I don t mind as much as the people that are zooming past me and passing me. Pulls grades great when not towing though, we bought it before pop up days.  [:)]

Rocky Mountain SueSue actually you should be glad you don t have the turbo motor. It s not made for the extra loads impossed by towing a load. All you get are overheating and melted parts after one of the long grades. It not a good thing to pop open the hood and see the exhaust manifold glowing bright red.

Rocky Mountain SueJust be thankful you have any moisture at all.  We ve an awful drought going on.

Rocky Mountain Sue

Rocky Mountain SueVery thankful for the moisture, we were in a drought too! Snow only hit the mountains and we got rain, that was a wonderful thing, RAIN!
