jpreiserJpreiser~  We are headed to Jacksonville!  It s a gorgeous city!  A nice mix of new metropolitan feel with splashes of old south.  We are looking at homes in the Mandarin area and Julington Creek.  When we went to visit we fell in love.  It felt like we belonged there!

Our camper is a 67 Skamper so unfortunately, no ac.... but you bet it s going to be our very next mod as soon as we get settled!

MommaMiaSounds great and like things are finally going to work out for you.  Good luck on hunting for your new home in FL.  As for the other agency never showing your home, that s too bad.  Maybe they just didn t have a client ready to buy at that time.  The market here is probably different from yours....about 70% of all listings  are sold on a co-broke basis (by another company.)  If the present company didn t know it was previously for sale, that leads me to believe the first one didn t expose it properly or maybe didn t even put it in MLS  OR the second company didn t see it in MLS.  I know the #1 Seller complaint is that there was not enough communication or no communication from their agent and that s why I end up with other agent s listings that expired.  I always try to address at the very beginning of the listing how the Seller expects me to communicate....how often, when, etc.  Sellers shouldn t be afraid to call their agent to find out what s being done to sell their home, in the event there isn t enough communication.

Again, best of luck in looking for your new home and I hope everything works out in the sale of your present home.  Your agent will follow up all those details toward closing for you.
