Goodness, I can t believe the price, but what really got me was the statement about the warranty. I wonder if it s one of those independent warranties, not a Coleman one. I did ask the seller, but have yet to hear.

I had to wonder about his Ebay name too...[&:]

 kathybrjGeez,
I can get a brand new 2003.5 from the dealer for that. Go to the Coleman site and run the MRSP and it comes up to just a little over that, and we all know that with the wheeling and dealing that goes on most of those options were included in the base purchase price. Based on his figures my " expierenced Niagara should be worth at least $15,000[8D][;)] Hey for that price I would deliver any where in the continental US to the campground of your choice! any takers[;)]

kathybrjI don t understand why someone would buy a brand new camper, use it once and then sell it????????

If they just wanted to " try"  camping with a PU, I would think it would make more sense to rent one or even buy a used one to " test"  the experience first.

I also noticed that so far there haven t been any bids on it.....Hmmmmmm wonder why????[:o][;)]

Turn Key

kathybrjI  spect he ll be waiting a good bit for his first bid, don t ya think?[&:]

kathybrjI saw that the other day $12000 and it doesn t even have AC on it.  My dealer is selling the 2003 1/2 for $8376.

labontefan

kathybrjI have a 2002 Utah that I bought brand new from the dealer with A/C and the " camping convenience package"  (or whatever they call it--sheets for both bunk ends, a fold down shelf across from the sink, and the big storage bag that connects to the ceiling), and it was a lot less than $12000! The awning was included with the PU, and they were offering the screen room for $50 with all 2002 models.

Makes you wonder how much the guy paid for it originally!

 kathybrjHe s smokin  crack!!!! [>:]

kathybrjI just think he was trying to do with the pop-up what happens to a lot of other stuff on eBay.

I have bid on dozens of items (maybe as many as 45?) on eBay, but only won on two.  All of the others ended up selling for more than local retail (my top bid).  Smart eBay sellers know this.  He probably thought he could do the same thing with the pop-up.  Unfortunately, on eBay, an educated consumer is their worst customer.

 AustinBostonAustinBoston,

Let s see here, hum..... There was an old saying but I think it has been modernized lately. One born every minute, but now it is one born every second!!![;)]

Just maybe to much rain for him this year.[:)]

Ab Diver

kathybrjHa, that s nothing... I ll make anyone out there a better deal: A " Vintage Utah" -- our  98 Bayside. It s got everything, including road grime! And at the price of ONLY  $24,000, it s TWICE the deal this guy is offering. So, any takers?

kathybrjI emailed them last week, sending a friendly notice that they likely wouldn t get any takers. I told them that they could get a NICELY equipped Niagara for 12000. I also told them that 6 or 7000 was a better " first bid"  with a reserve around 8 or 9000 if they actually wanted some bids. Might even take the numbers down further than that.

I haven t heard from them.

Without air, a 7 year warranty, and $2000 by cashier s check due at completion of auction, and NO REPLY FROM AT LEAST TWO OF US HERE AT PUT......
Smells funny, don t you think?

kathybrj

kathybrjLarry- I just can t believe the screen name the seller uses on Ebay- SAG1955? There s an omen...

wahoonc

 kathybrjKathy,
Did you happen to check the seller s review? That is a brand new log on name he is using. I haven t taken the time to dig deeper. It may be someone trying to make a statement about Coleman or it may just be someone totally naive about E-bay in general. It amazes me some of the hype and urban myths that occur about e-bay in general and how easy it is to make lots of money selling your stuff on e-bay.[;)] I can t believe I don t have any takers on my expeirenced Niagara[:(][8D]

 Aaron[:)]

kathybrj

kathybrjYeah, Aaron, something just doesn t sit quite right. I think the guy figures he ll find someone dumb enough to bid on it. Obviously, he isn t answering any emails from people that sound like they might know something about campers.

I m still wondering about his warranty statement....

I really can t believe no one has inquired about your Niagara![8D][:D]

brainpause

kathybrjI ll buy your Niagara, as long as you will meet MY price...$36000!
