Wax paper as a lubricant...gee I wonder if I could use it on my sway bar???Guess not since it would be too hard to get that bar back into the slot and would probably rip apart...

By the way what kinda grease do you all really use on the sway bar, I had to get a new one because I bent the bar lowering the jack, it got stuck in the drive, forgot to bungee it up...

On the bar itself, don t use anything.  Lubricants are designed to reduce or eliminate friction.  A sway bar relies on friction to work, so if you get rid of the friction, the sway bar can t work.

I see no reason you can t use wax paper on the two small hitch balls (the ones at eithert end of the sway bar), if that s the kind of sway bar you have.

GeorgeWhat about using a spray-on silicone lubricant for the hitch ball? It s a " dry"  lube, so after you unhitch it shouldn t be greasy at all. And it has good lubrication properties for low temperature applications.
