GaryWTRight now it s stove top perc.

Looking for a french press as we don t drink much and would use the perc to heat water so DW can get tea as well.

GaryWTWe use a cone filter, and let the hot water drip through the ground coffee.

GaryWTDH likes to make coffee in the drip maker.  I prefer green tea with passion flower & honey.[:)]

 Peace be with you all.

GaryWTDW has to have her gourmet coffee (and grinds the beans fresh), but I am a real man and don t drink coffee.

GaryWTMr. Coffee for those times with electricity and an old-fashioned percolator for those times we don t.  I keep the pre-ground coffee in the freezer between camping trips because we only use fresh-ground whole beans at home.
By the way, what happened to coffee drinkers?  They seemed to have disappeared after my generation.  Our kids still get their caffeine but from soft drinks instead of coffee.

GaryWTFor ME Coffee=yuck, except with lots of milk and sugar to cut the taste.  DH drinks it if the weather is cold.  However, we have two coffee pots, one old stainless steel percolator style electric that has it hot in ready in a matter of minutes, and one stove top percolator style that takes forever on the outside stove.

I prefer my caffeine cold and carbonated thank you, or else in ice tea.

 GaryWTOther- Coleman Camping Coffeemaker!

GaryWTWe have a gallon sized cowboy coffee pot for the big crowds, and we use that on the fire.   We also have a Mr. Coffee, which gets used real often too.  As long as it s real coffee, not instant, and you can smell it on those nice cool mornings when it s so great to sit with a cup and listen to the birds.

GaryWTDid you all see that new coffe pot by Coleman?  It was featured in PUT magazine this month.  Very cool! Check it out:

GaryWTWhen camping with electric, we use a Mr. Coffee on a timer so we wake up to the smell of freshly brewing coffee. When dry camping we have the stainless steel percolator that works quite wonderfully too, but we have to immediately pour the coffee into a really good thermos to keep it hot.  I ve heard the same complaints from the new Coleman coffee pot... that the coffee doesn t stay hot because no electric warmer to keep it that way.  A good thermos is invaluable in that situation!    I do like my morning coffee HOT!

GaryWTMy DH thinks he is not camping unless he uses the percolator on the outside coleman stove. I agree with Wiininkwe- love the coffe smell on those nice cool mornings when it s so great to sit with a cup and listen to the birds.
