RE: The good, the bad, & the just ugly.

Okay, lets start out by saying that I may not be completely sane.  I travelled a combined total of 2000 miles with a 12 yr for company....
 
 The Good. . .
   The NIck-Neff group has been holding out on all of us.  Granted the road in (CA 1 from Jenner) is ugly, but CA has a great state park called Salt Point.  I saw more wildlife in this state park than I saw in Yosemite and Sequoia/Kings.  The tide pools were great and the park was set up nicely.
 
 The Bad. . .
   The RV park near the southern entry to Yosemite.   The staff was friendly, the bathrooms okay, but the site..........  & heat.
 
 The Ugly. . .
   Ever see what happens to a pop up when the main leaf in the spring breaks in half?  It is not pretty.  Particularly when you are murging on CA 99 from CA 12 in Lodi on a sunday evening.  First, you try to figure out what the trailer hit, but the TV didn t and you didn t see.  Next, you think that you may have eaten a tire as the trailer starts to show signs that it doesn t want to roll.  Then, you notice that the trailer is listing to the right side as you try to get off the blinking highway.  YOu get off the highway, call AAA to come fix that tire, and look under your baby and notice that the tire is still full of air & the spring doesn t connect to itself.
 
 All said, my insurance company paid $1100 to make the trailer road worthy (there is cosmetic and the like inside to be fixed) so I could get the 12 yr old on an airplane in Phx.  I don t think that I will like my next premium!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 we do have some great campgrounds.
 Pity you never made it to Gold Rush Rally, as a great time was had by all.
