Sorry it took so long to do this...but it always seems to take a week to " catch up"  after a long weekend with work and chores and all.  I think everything went well considerring it was our first Rally.  Finally met some more folks from the board, and everyone was very friendly and nice. 4campingfoxes and their friends that came with (one family got farthest travelled..the other nicest setup awards) were very active bunch...always on the go exploring all the area has to offer.  Met extremesoccermom, and her kids (think my ds has another gf maybe?), and her son and Linda s daughter hit it off real well (he seemed to forget all about his other gf back home).  Basically, everyone I think had a good (and relaxing) time.  Queenie...sry the wife started telling you about her perscription problems from last year...she felt bad afterwards cause she realized you didn t come down to talk " shop" , and if we ever run into you out at Hillsdale Lake...she promisses not to do it again.  We got lucky with the weather...it was mostly cloudy (which kept the temps down), and no rain...so no typical midwest swelterring heat...and heavy thunderstorms.
I wouldn t mind doing the Rally again in Branson next year at the Compton Ridge, since it s seems to be pretty central, and there s things to do for everyone.  May want to camp on the other side where you can have campfires, and may do something different then the pig roast (which was tasty...but not what I expected).  Linda took pics, and will hopefully have some posted soon.
There s more I want to type, but I m realy bad with names on this sunday morning...and brain is still kind of foggy (coffee hasn t worked it s magic yet).  When I remember...I ll post more.  Thanks for your support.

rednekrubbrduckI probably won t get the film dropped off until next week.  I got home sun evening and this week is a " Night"  Day-Camp for Girl Scouts so I m on the run.  I think the film is still in the camper!

I m not in favor of doing Compton Ridge again.  I think Branson had " too much"  to do and it was hard for everyone to get together.  I d be more in favor of a private campground that had lots to offer onsite or a state park with lots to do.

We were so " on the go"  and didn t spend too much time at the campground.  Later in the week we went over to Roaring River SP and had a much more relaxed time doing things in the Park.
