Ha, ha and you thinnk it did  NOT drive me nuts, too?  My only consolation is that I love to read and had a bunch of great stuff to read whilst lying on my bed of pain.  And we now have a tiny new kitten who makes both of us laugh out loud.  Also, the roses and lilies are in bloom in our flower beds along with a bunch of other stuff--and once more  I can get to  communicate with my gang of wonderful buddies here so LIFE IS GOOD!![:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]  Boy have I ever missed you folks. [:(][: (][:o][&:][:@]

Now I will have to try to find time to catch up on the news on the board.

NightOwlGlad to see you back on the board.  You have certainly been missed by many of the members.

I also had to cancel the trip to Hillsville.  I was hoping to meet you there and at least say hello and tell you about Birol s visit.

However, my heart and my pacer both decided that I would not go anywhere that wasn t close to a hospital.  After spending the past two weekends in the ER, I hope that the visit to the doc today will allow me to at least move around without hurting or feeling weak.

I look forward to meeting you one day and we each getting a hug for friendship.  Glad to see you and your family are on the mend.

Every one has truly missed you, in fact Jeffrey was even wondering if we would need to search for a new  Mom  figure to replace you.  (and wouldn t that person then be a  stepmom ?)  Anyway, maybe now we can get your answers to all the questions that everyone was asking, and put everything back in it s proper place.  My little brother and I are so glad to have you back!!!!!

HA!  Think back, Toni--the last time several people here invited me to be denmother,    I was  attacked  for using that unforgiveable word in my signature, .

There was also some mention of us being part of a cl--que at the same time, but while I cheerfully  admit to being a member of  The PUT Native American-Norwegian CampFire Mafia, I dont know nuthin  bout no cl--que.[:D]

Perhaps someone else would like the denmother job?  Or better yet, we are all so mature and sensible  here  that a mother is probably totally  unnecessary for a group like this (except for Jeffrey and that is a private matter between the two of us--with Gene on the sidelines as referee of course)  (And then of course, there is LeighAnne)  (but they are special cases.)

In the time I have had  today to read  your wonderfully  warm (and goofy) posts  on the campfire forum, I realize I am once again  where I belong--right smack in the middle of a great, caring, funny,  open-hearted group of friends (I hope this last remark does not lead anyone to think we are a cl--que)  [;)]

NightOwl

never2poopd2popWOW! After reading that stuff Austin has been putting out lately, I am beginning to consider that this board  really DOES need someone to volunteer as " Mother"  just to make sure that this kind of thing does not get repeated.   (Austin insists this is a joke but no one I know of thinks it is funny)  I am sure there are many capable people here who could (with motherly  kindness and understanding, of course) remind people  of the high standards we have always had here.  I cannot imagine what must have been going on these past few months--and in fact, I dont want to even try (shudder!)

SactoCampers

 NightOwlNightowl,

You will always be the denmother, but we ve picked up another relative: cool " Aunt Kelly."  Both of you exude goodness. [:D]

never2poopd2popBrian, really great to hear from you and some of my other " Cougher"  buddies!! " [:)][:)]     I tried to e-mail you from your PUT address here on your post and it got returned.  Wha happen?
