That s right another year has rolled around and it s Leon s day alreaady again.
What s Leon s day you ask?
Well it s half way to Christmas (june 25th) and it s also Noel spelled backwards.
 So enjoy the holiday.[:D]

mike4947Hey, it s my " half-birthday" [:D]  Since I couldn t have a birthday party with my friends on Christmas day as a kid & around the holidays was always too chaotic, I used to have birthday parties in the summer on June 25 --my " half-birthday" -- while I was growing up.  I stopped having those parties around the time I entered my teen years.

Anyhow, " Bon Leon"  day to you all as well.

 Peace be with you all.

mike4947We used to celebrate " half-birthdays"  when I was in college. I lived in a sorority house for the last 2 1/2 years I was in school, and we always tried to celebrate everyone s birthday with ice cream and a bottle of wine. (When I think back on it, that s a pretty nasty combination! [: (]) We d pour a glass of wine for everyone and toast the birthday girl...then she had to finish the rest of the bottle![:D]

For those of us who had birthdays in the summer rather than during the school term, we d celebrate " half-birthdays" . Mine is in August so we celebrated in February. One of my sorority sisters had the same birthday I did, so we celebrated our half-birthday on the same day. We always said two half-birthdays made a whole birthday! [:D]
