Hey everyone, I hear that Cliff has his computer with him at the rally and will be logged in to see what is going on here.  Boy, talk about loyalty!!  Imagine taking a computer on a great trip like that and finding time to keep in touch with us stay-at-homes

So maybe we can get some live reports right from the scene of the fun!!!!

Gone-Camping

NightOwlHmmmm, must be another Cliff, because I had to cancel, couldn t get the time off! The only camping I did this week, was take a one nighter to try out my new trailer!

NightOwlHey,  Gone-C, there IS no other Cliff as far as your old buddies like me are concerned.  One of the gang mentioned that they thought you had gone to the rally and were going to keep in touch via computer--you can see how things get shifted around and misunderstood as news passes from one to the other. But  I am really sorry to hear you had to back out (so did I, dang!) but misery loves company and  I am glad you are here to help us get AB straightened out (if that is possible on such shirt notice)

On a cheerier note--how d you like the new trailer (and congratulations!)

Gone-Camping

NightOwlNot sure what AB s problem is, just glad he s not doing that over on irv2!!! Oh well, someone else s problem here!!! [;)]

As for the new Hybrid, I m overjoyed with it. [:D]

Though the ony thing I ever wanted was a PU, the Hybrid has turned out to be a great work saver. My problem wasn t so much setting up and tearing down at the campsite, heck, still gotta do all that anyway. But setting up and down just to load it, unload, work on it, or just putter around in it was a problem. I couldn t open the bunk ends without opening the garage door (the back bed would extend into the garage) which meant I couldn t open & leave it open. Of course, in this neiborhood I wound t do that anyway. Simply put, it was hard to access the main unit, and if it was raining out ya just didn t even try.

The new trailer is easy, I unlock the door and go inside. No need to put the bed ends out unless I m camping, so rain or shine doesn t matter either. Now we have a new problem, keeping me out of the trailer! I m inside of it doing one thing or another just about every evening after work! Still spending money on it too, just picked up an " over the door"  towel rack this evening, and a propane TEE for my table top stove & griddle (I did have to unhook one to use the other prior to now)....

It s big! But the Jeep seems to pull it well enough, though I think I ll be in the market for a bigger T/V in very short order, I could use a little more motor under the hood....[8D]
