RE: PopUp Explorer??

Hey, did PopUp Explorer bite the dust?  Haven t been over there in a while so this evening I clicked on their link just to check in and see what was happening and got this page telling me there was no such animal to be found.  Anyone else having this experience?

I tried several times myself and got the same message you did.   Just tried and was able to get through.  I believe that there is alot of traffic and the service provider that they have cannot handle the amount of traffic.  Try again, maybe you can get through.

Dean s got the same growing pains that PUT had last year. It s up but the dreaded " page not found try the refresh button"  comes up a lot and even when you get a page it can be terminally slow.

 I can remember a time when people were upset with Dave having to charge to keep the site running and accessible.  Others decided to abandon ship and go to the " free"  places.  
 
 I think this has been well worth the $$$$.

Just tried it and it came up at it s normal speed.  Not as fat as here but not too bad for free.

It works fine for me[] There were some problems in the backbone servers, a bad router or something like that. Not something that Dean realy has control over. It was on one of the servers that feeds to the server he uses. I believe they have it fixed now. Seems to make the rounds though, I was on a different board last week and they had a hard drive crash, wiped out over 3 weeks of forums.[]
