RE: Hey ya all.. We made it back from the Rally!

Well we took the Looonnnggg way home. Heck, 3 days! way too little driving for me, but we had to space it out untill Sunday after 3pm to stay out of the " open house"  taking place at our house.. So, we diceded to grab some " sticker states"  You know.. to fill in out USA sticker map on our camping kitchen box.. [] So we took up camping in 2 KOA s using Dave s KOA discount cards (or are they kards?? [] [] ) We stoped in Maryland just off 81 and stayed in a fairish campground.. Pretty small spaces... But not bad, and it did have a nice big river we didn t get to play with at all... From there we headed off to the closest KOA in New York.. (yea baby, big sticker state...) [] It was a little loud (music, campers, dogs, ect..) But heck, it was close to NY city and a weekend.. Other than that it was a pretty nice KOA.. Huge well stocked store, decent showers.. Heavy cholirine in the pool though [: (] But a nice stay all in all.  We had a little motor trouble on the way home, heading into Maryland I think my fuel pump started to go out.. If I brought the RPM s over 3500 at full throttle it began to miss and sputter.. I found that a full tank of gas and a small rest was enough to keep the old girl going, so I picked up a $160 fuel pump once I got home and will install it later this week. (Had to wash all that mud off first!!)
 
 But back to sticker states.. We found out that Harpers Ferry KOA is in W-VA!! Cool.. I thought that was VA.. We have 3 to add to the map now!! []
 
 So all in all we had a blast, got to meet some new friends, and some old faces, and missed a few [] but I am happy to have had such a perfect week again for a rally. and thanks to Dave for the work and his rushed trip out to meet us just in time for the BB-Q []

Glad you made it back safely. It was a pleasure meeting you and your DW at the rally. Next time we meet, I want to take a good look at the old girl, saw your GPS mounted on the dash while it was parked, looked really cool.

Ahhh, sadly my friend.. it looks like my baby will no longer be the tow rig of choice for us..[] In about 2 months we will be out of room to go as a family with her.. My wifes conversion van will be the new tow rig.. But go to my web site, and go to my Toyota link.. I have a lot of photos on there just like my camper web site..

Hey Lee, sorry I couldn t hook up again this time around. I ll probably be heading back to Mass again some time next year though, family wants to have a reunion. They wanted to do it this month, but I figured I d make them wait another year!!!! []
