Firefyter-EmtHow about Amaya Rose Thomas.  Pronounced A-May-a.  I only  know one Amaya and she is a really nice girl 10 years old.  She has blond hair too.  I like the ring of it Amaya Thomas.

Miss-Teri

 Firefyter-EmtThere s always " Amanda Rose" .  (I just love the name " Mandy" ! [;)])

And I like the name Kaitlyn, too.  Lot s of Katies, Kaitlyns, Kylees, Keelys, Kaylees, Kaylynns, etc, etc, etc around our area, lol.  " K"  seems to be the " in"  name.  [:D]

And " Sara"  is a pretty Biblical name - Sara Rose Thomas?

Firefyter-EmtAnother name that we were going to name my third child was Taylor or even Heather.  But even though predictions by the doctor were wrong after a pink room, a girl baby shower and all girl clothes the boy emerged & shocked everyone.  Wife always like Taylor but guess it s personal preference.[:D]

Firefyter-EmtAs you see we are stuck on K names.  With the first two it was purely an accident, but the last one was intentional.  Those that know her situation, know it was important that she not feel any more different than necessary.

Hmm, a girl name to go with Patrick, Joshua, and Matthew.  Those are good strong names for boys, they are also very " traditional"  names.  I would say go with a strong traditional name for your baby girl too.  How about Elizabeth Rose?

Ok, faced with not giving you a name, I just was going to give you the standard rules I used, their initials shouldn t spell something too bad, don t name them something that can be twisted into really bad nicknames, don t name them something you would feel uncomfortable yelling across a playground, don t spell it in a way people have no idea how to pronounce it, and give them a strong name that will suit them as an adult no matter their career choice.

I will never forget we had a banker several years ago whose name was Lovie.  I just wasn t sure about an adult named Lovie, but she didn t pick the name.

Firefyter-EmtWhat if you combine your first names?

 prounounced like An druh lee

 Andralee Rose Thomas

Acts 2:38 girl

Firefyter-Emthmmm.... I really like these suggestions.  I ve been walking around for a few days repeating, " Amaya Rose"  ! [:D] I like it!  I also like Elizabeth Rose, and Andralee is very different (which is important to me!) [:D] We are going to be the most confused couple in the hospital!  [:D]

Acts 2:38 girlFWIW (not much, I know [:)]):

Kaitlyn (and all its variations) is so tremendously popular now.  It seems like everywhere I go, I hear some little girl answering to that name.  I tend to be partial to names that are unique, but not so strange that the kid will get beaten up on the playground (hence my son s name, Griffin Michael)

How about evening up the score?  You said 1 Irish, 2 Hebrew...what about another Irish name?  I recently met a woman named Jillian and I really liked it.  It was a name that had nice nickname potential, seemed somewhat immune to children s scatological variations and would be appropriate for a girl, whether she was 2 or 92.  Rose would still work well as a middle name too.

 Jillian Rose Thomas.

Blessings to you whatever you decide!

Firefyter-Emt

Acts 2:38 girlWell, I also like Keara & Sarah.. But I seem to be stuck on Kaitlyn [&:]

 BTW, I do like Jillian...

NCSunshine

Acts 2:38 girlJust wait till she is born and you will look at her and say " Hello xxxxxxx, I m your daddy" .  The Lord will just let you know when you look at her.

Acts 2:38 girlA new " twist"  on Sarah; should that be your choice.  My nephew s wife (is that niece in law?) spells her name Serra.  Another suggestion is Keely Rose.

A woman at my work is named " Sierra" --another slight variation of Sarah.

Firefyter-EmtWe were going to do a whole Russian thing if our 2nd one was a girl - turned out to be a boy - Natalia Tatiana.  Tatiana was my grandmother s middle name.  She was Virginia.  My niece is Victoria - Tori.  My other Niece is Christy.

Firefyter-EmtGirls names can be easy to pick & hard to pick.  So many sound so nice!  Speaking as the mother of 2 DD (Caitlin Elaine is 10 & Megan Elizabeth is 6) one thing I can tell you is that at some point she ll hate her name, whatever it is, and want to be called by one of the Disney princesses (whichever is the current favorite)! [:D]  As with any child, you just have to make sure it all rolls off the tongue easily for those times when the middle name is needed for emphasis - just so they really know they re in trouble!

Good luck coming up with a name - we changed our minds multiple times before our angels were born as I m sure you are.
