We re stuck!  My DD just celebrated her 8th birthday and she got Game Boy Advance SP.  We bought the Super Mario World Super Mario Advance 2 game to go with it.  On the weekend, she befriended a young lad who helped her advance quite nicely, well that young lad is gone and we re stuck on World #2 Morton s Castle.  We can get all the way to where Koopla ? is but can t figure a way to defeat it.  Can anyone help us, or should I say can anyone ask their kids how to kill Koopla?  We jump on it s back but it just get s stunned then keeps going.  This is quite frustating...and addictive!

 fivegonefishingTammy,

A friend of mine needs help with D0D, I swear it is not me [8D][8D][8D]

How addictive it really is ? Are you hooked up good ? [;)]

My kids don t have the advanced version otherwise DS would be able to help, he is a game crazy boy ....

fivegonefishingWoowho!  I did it!  Took a long time, like 3 days but I found that when Koopla is about to fall from the roof onto Luigi s head, if you spin jump then he won t land on you, and it takes about 5 jumps on him, a slow tedious process, dd was very happy to move onto the next world but says it s much harder.

It s pretty addictive, espeically depending on what game you have.  She has seen the commercials for Donkey Kong and is asking for that one for Christmas.

fivegonefishingI got the same thing for my birthday too!!![:D]

It came with a book explaining the worlds, but the book seem to leave out some
stuff (I only  read it when I m really stuck).  Tell her to keep backtracking, when you go back into worlds, missing blocks  appear and there are new things to be found.
I ve only made it into the 4th world so far and know I ve missed alot.

If you want Tammy, I can scan the pages of an area she is stuck on and emil it to you. It has pictures of the boards you are playing to follow.

fivegonefishingYears ago I bought the Nintendo for DS (he was around 8 at the time, 24 now) and included the original Zelda game in his Christmas gifts.  He was enjoying Mario, but when he took a break I popped in Zelda and started playing.  Nine hours later I was still playing!  In fact, every night after DS went to bed, I d start playing into the wee hours of the morning.  I was totally addicted and after finally conquering found that there was another version of the game included.  After conquering the second game, I had to give it up cold turkey!  Until 1996 when I purchased a Game Boy for myself.  Of course I HAD to get Zelda!  And again, every free moment was spent searching for the Princess.  I finally found her and promptly got rid of the Game Boy.  Now reading this, I m feeling the itch.  The new Advanced is SO cool and I think they have updated Zelda.  I think I m about to fall off the wagon!!!!!!

fivegonefishingI got hooked on Half Life (Online game against other players via PC), and played it for 1.5 years and then deleted it. Wasted so much time and drove DW nuts. Now I play DoD (A varioation based on WWII) but do it in moderation. I did not play since I came back from the rally, so thinks are under control.

These game manufactureres certainly know what they are doing.
