JemJen24Jen, if I were you I would head on over the dam and stay at East Burns Run on the Oklahoma side.  Eisenhower is Ok, but we prefer sites with easy water access, and the Eisenhower park is basically on a cliff.  There is a swim beach, you hike down stairs to get to it.  There are fishing piers, but you have to hike to them.  The sites themselves are fine, we stayed with the club in the full hookup section, and there is decent privacy, but we re spoiled by the Oklahoma side where you can camp right on the water.

OK, but since you are going anyway - DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT leave the area without going over the dam, and eating at Windy s Catfish.  You have to get the green tomato relish too, it ain t catfish without it.

Oops, sorry guys, I fixed all those darn dam misspellings.  Have to keep it clean you know!
