maromeo:::sigh::: I can t sell water to someone dying of thirst.  Thank you, Maromeo, for that nice description.  I didn t think to mention all of that.  Yes, it s just as she said.  Keep your eye out for the white peacock, although it s really shy and hides most of the time.

Coxes, of course you can join us.  Would love to finally meet you.  I ll grab a couple more sites.  [:)]

Count us in.  DH said it sounds great.  My daughter will be in soccer at that time, but the team will have to do without her.

Just FYI, when we had to change our reservation once, then finally cancelled it altogether, they were very good about it and didn t charge us any fees or anything.  So if you want to reserve the whole loop, but then had to give up a few as it gets closer, it shouldn t be a problem.

Cstars

CottonwooderThis weekend looks good for us.  I think the 6 original spots are taken so should we just call direct to make a reservation?

Cottonwooder

CstarsThank goodness the boards are back!  How the heck am I meant to coordinate a rally without our communication lines?  Whew!

OK, folks, let me update the list and I ll get back to you.  [:)]

OC Campers

CottonwooderWell, I am tired of waiting around for the transfer " gods" .  I want to go camping with our SCC buddies so I am gonna say we are coming.  Patricia, let me know what to do.  I know your reserved sites are taken.  Do you want me to call and get a site or is there a different plan of action.  Just let me know.  As far as I can see, the only hitch for us is soccer.  I am not sure when the end is.  But I will cross that bridge if I have to and worry about it later.

CottonwooderYep, it s me - the newbie/reader/crown-maker from Casitas.  I hadn t been able to post for the longest time but now am back up and running.  We also missed the first Vail Lake rally at the last minute because of the flu.  So, no longer MIA.  We re signed up for the Vail Oct. rally and want to go to this one too!  Yipee!  We ve been doing some little weekend jaunts at San Mateo, Carlsbad and San Clemente.  Can you tell we like the beach?

I wish that we had planned our summer as wellas you Joan.  By the time we hopped on Reserve America to book sites at San Mateo and San Elijo, everything was long gone until the middle of October!  It looks like things may loosen up a bit after Labor Day so we may take off some mid-week days to go camp there so that Lil  Griffy can go longboarding with mama.  It s so cute..whenever we watch Lilo and Stitch, he always says " Sissin and Mama"  in the scene where Lilo and Nonny are riding the waves together.  [:)]

OC Campers

CottonwooderI bet Griffy is adorable on the board.  We watch Lilo and Stitch at least 1-2 times a day.  Stuart Little and Lilo are the current favorites with Matt.  The other 2 kids swore if they had to watch Shrek one more time they were gonna turn " green"  too.[:D].  Would love to see the 2 of you surfing together.

CottonwooderThat is soooo cute.  " Sissin and Mama"  riding the wild surf.  Bet there s not too many surfers that were introduced to the sport by their lawyer mommas.

That is probably pretty true, Scott! [:D]  Although I have to say, I m not sure how " wild"  the surf has been that I ve introduced him to.  See for yourself: http://community.webshots.com/photo/52510275/52511572RXyNbM

Heck, Dave won t let me take him out any further than 25 feet from shore!  I can tell you this, though: I m really looking forward to next year when he ll be a bit bigger and I can teach him ski (snow) as well as surf!  I taught Dave how to ski when he was 36 and my stepson when he was 8.  I m thinking that Griffin should be the easiest of the lot!  Those look like waves to me...also noticed that subtle " mom death grip"  around Griffy.  Still---wouldn t it be safer to put a little insurance lifejacket on him just in case?
