Well, we just came home from the 5th trip in the " new"  camper, and for the 4th time, something big is broken.  So far, every trip something breaks... we ve had the dealer fix the roof seal (came home in a rain storm to find everything SOAKED), replace the roof seal (on the third trip it just started peeling off the roof),  fix the trunk seal (again, everything inside soaked following a rain storm), fix a seat cushion twice, fix the velcro on the door twice, fix the gear crank, and now, when we popped up this weekend and hooked up the water hose for the kitchen sink, the tube through which the hot water feeds into the sink cracked, leaving us with a gallon of water to mop up, no water for the weekend, and now finding the time for yet another trip back to the dealer or to a plumbing supply store for a replacement.  I m sure there s more we ve fixed that I just can t remember right now.

So, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN.  Am I overly sensitive?  Do the rest of you suffer these same problems and let them roll off your back because you re happy to just be camping?

Thanks for listening to the whine.
Any tips on fixing the water line are welcome.

CampinfoolsNo you are not being sensitive.  You have every right to complain and should.

CampinfoolsSince I ll be going on number six as soon as I can get the TV I want; I can tell you that you ll always have a few problems with a trailer.
As many as you ve had, IMHO No.
But I ve learned I keep a " repair box"  with spares for most everything and duplicates of all the tools I need to do everything except running a hoist from a nearby tree to remove the roof. I just use one of the plastic fish tubs from a local fish place.

What I really get a laugh from is over the last couple of years listening to all the b*itch posts about the number of problems, then several days later looking at their replies to the " Nembie wants to know what kind of trailer to buy"  thread where they gush about how their s is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Perseved Quality and Brand Loyalty are two of Fleetwoods major assets. You can t swing a cat without hitting someone who s had one of their trailers that s had major problems and they ve replaced it with another Fleetwood.
To paraphrase SNL, it s better to look good than to be good.

CampinfoolsI guess we ve been lucky.  This is our third season, and we ve never had to make any repairs or take our PU in.
Maybe having them do an overall inspection next time you take it in so they can possibly catch any potential problems before you have to deal with them?  Good luck - that would be annoying, to say the least!  [&:]

CampinfoolsWe share your frustration but our problem have not been as extreme as yours.  Ours relate to fleetwood cutting corners and cheap plastic parts.  Plastic drawer supports breaking, plastic supports for dining table legs breaking, poorly insulated refrigerator, shifting roof supports, deformed seals from shepard pole pressure, etc., etc.

Hang in there...when you get it all fixed...it works and you are camping...life is good!
