 Hi Folks,

From November until now I have been asked to join a couple and/or groups out on a camping trips this spring. I have had to say no to most offers do to other arrangement at other campgrounds. So I have had an idea and I though I would post it for discussion.

I was thinking about making a sign with the Popup Times sticker on it and posting it out in front of the camp site so we can identify one other during our camping visits at all the campgrounds. I am sure this would help Dave as well as ourselfs.

What do you think? At the rate it is now, it is to hard to merry up with most of you because our plans are made so far inadvance.

Bottom line here is that everyone post a Popup Times Sticker in front of camp site so we can identify one another at any campgrounds we go to.[:)]

whitestar505Our club has signs for everyone to hang out. We even do this when we are not camping together to promote our group.

YellowXterraDo the signs say Popup Times ?

whitestar505as i walked around Oscar Scherer SP I realized everyone else s bumper stickers were, like mine, facing the back.

What I want is a fairly large sign that I can stick the stickers from all the clubs I belong to.

whitestar505That is a great idea.  I ve thought about making a sign to take along on my camping trips myself, but have not come up with a design for it yet.

You can be sure I will have a PUT s sticker on my sign when I get it made![:)]

whitestar505Our sticker is on the front corner of the pop-up so you can see it when it s raised.  I like the sign idea, 67skamper has a nice one made.  We ll have to do that eventually.

iwantapopupTo bad we can not find someone who is willing to design and make them up for sale to the folks here. Maybe Dave does ?[:)]

whitestar505We printed ours out on photo paper and then lanimated them and hang them with a badge clip. We have our club info and screen name on them.

whitestar505I cut a piece of plexi-glass down to size and afixed a PUT bumper sticker to it and attached it on my name sign that I hang on the site number post. I have yet to run into any fellow board members (I know your out there), but I usually have a few people stop by and inquire about the magazine.

whitestar505Statepark girl and her husband came up with something last year for the Westmoreland campout and sent them to Dave for the EP rally in PA last fall. I got mine last spring at Westmoreland.

Contact Dave and see what he has to say and maybe he can scan or fax the design that was put on sticky paper and then put on a board cut in a sextagonal. After all it is Dave s logo.

whitestar505The signs that StateParkGirl made are nice.  We got our at Eagles Peak and plan to hang it out on all of our trips.[:D]

whitestar505Robucko had a nice big sign made from a sign shop.  He hangs it on the front of his rig when he s camping. I think he was in the previous issue of PUT with his sign too.  Many of us at the first Western Rally printed off 8.5" x11"  signs with our user name.  Worked okay but still rather small.  With kids around just be cautious.  I did recreate some art that Dave was okay with, has the logo and a PopUp behind the logo.

whitestar505Cliff are you still using the sign?  I know you ve had it for awhile and was just curious how its held up.

whitestar505We also got a PUT sign at the Westmoreland trip.  DH drilled two small holes in the upper corners of the sign and put small link chain through them.  I hang it with a binder clip on  the front bunk end with a binder clip when ever we pop up and I m surprised that NO ONE has ever asked about what it is or where we got it.  It s been up in Michigan, Connecticut and at several state parks here in VA.  Oh well, we enjoy it -- it s right next to my Univ. of Michigan flag.  (GO BLUE!!)
