 Just wondering what everyone thinks.[:D]

Not that it really matters, but just curious.

JeffreyAlthough I voted for Darkside, hybrids are more like a transition phase.  If you stop there, you re OK.  It s the next step that turns you into a confirmed darkside slide.

Turn Key

JeffreyI voted for them be from " The Darkside"  even though they may not be.  Main reason I said they were is because they ARE a lure TO " The Darkside" .

BTW: We are skipping the lure and going straight to " The Darkside"  on our next unit.  Planning and looking for a 24-26  " 5er" .  That s why we purchased what looks like a mighty over-sized PU puller[;)].  We still love PU s but have had enough of having to worry about wet tenting.  Tired of cancelling short trips and shortening longer trips due to the threat of rain and worry about drying out PU material.  Going to put an end to that.

JeffreyWell, John s Hybrid was lovely, but it was darkside :( Especially with the curtains drawn to provide privacy for the bunk ends , it looks and feels like a TT. If it feels and loooks a like a TT, it is darkside. Sorry [&:]

Jeffrey

 JeffreyI m not poking fun.
I m just glad that someone else see s this issue as clearly as I do.[:)]

The Darkside needs to be watched, it can t be trusted. BEWARE
The Hybrid s are their bait.
It s been luring people to the darkside by the dozens.

They added a patch of canvas, Just to trick them. [8D]

JeffreyPoke Poke Poke ! You are right when you are right ! Well, it is a good compromise in the sense that the beds do not take space in the trailer at all. But, You loose all the feeling of opennes.

Would I not by a Hybrid ? I can t say that, I probably would .....But maybe if I had a PU with a shower and CT and tons of space, I might not. I would have to have the PU first .....

Jeffreydepends on what you are calling " Darkside"

They truly are not as bright and airy as a popup, unless you go to either end...if you have one that has canvas ends... so in general, they are darker, as in less bright on the inside.

Oh, Come on, you know what Darkside means.[&:]

While it definately relates to light.
It is really the forces that draw you away from Pop-Ups.

Watch StarWars and apply their Darkside to Campers.
Just think of Dave as our Yoda.

Jeffreywell its not from the dark side, cuz i was inside one and it felt cramped and unconfortable.

JeffreyAs an owner of a hybrid I would say yes, they are the dark side, not sure if it s my 4 piece washroom, micro wave, double sink, ease of set up and tear down but I love it and am not ashamed to admit it.[:)]

On our last trip, it took our friend 4 hours to get ready to roll ! I don t know if they were very metilicious, but 4 hours is not ease of camping. Not trying tobe argumentative here, I was just surprised how long it took. We were ready in no time and helped them [:)]
