RE: WHY IS IN THE PROFILE YOU ARE ALWAYS OFF LINE

I have frequently gone out to someone s profile and it shows them as offline, but they are posting.
 
 So I just went out to my profile and it also show me as offline.  Is this a problem that Steve is unaware of?
 
 Has this been brought up before?

If I remember correctly there is an option whether or not you want to be shown as online or not.
 
 I just checked and there is. You might want to check your profile and see if you have the box checked or unchecked on the " Hide from online user list"  I think if it is checked then you are not showing as online.
 
 
 Just checked again and it doesn t seem to be working correctly. I still show offline even though I should have shown online.
 
 There must be a glitch in the Matrix [][][]

It always shows me offline too, sheeeesh, how much of a glicth is that, me offline ?  No way !

Keeping track of who is on or offline at any given time is another " feature"  that has not been turned on at the server level.  Just something else to consume limited resources.
 
 I ll take board speed and stability over those type features any-day[]

Hey I sleep alright. Around 10 to 11 pm till 8 or 9 am. But then I wake up and while messing with that game thing I have one IE page pointed to here. Early in the mornings this is all I do
 
 You gotta have some time for play too. My work times are rare and when I choose them , except Weekend Mornings

Enough already.  Some want to prove they are off line, even when they are online (in left field,ha) and others want speed.  I vote for the mod and we leave the feature just the way it is.  Heck, why would I want to know from the board whether I am online.[8D][][][][]
