I think it stinks that Sacto s Website thread has that word " top"  next to it. It s totally wrong! Now I can t get all the little colored blinking lights to line up. VERY frustrating and if anyone should understand this, it should be Sacto!

 Yes, How do you do that, get the TOP on your topic so it never drops to the bottom?

Hey guys, it doesn t matter.  Sacto s Website thread is like quicksand.  You ve seen the last poster, who happens to be Guest.  It s not going anywhere despite the advantage, it s not garnering anymore points.
 
 I m personally boycotting the threads with TOP on them.  It s not fair that they get TOP billing and don t have to work for replies.  It s totally bogus.
 
 I am just inputting on freelance threads, where the fair market system is in place.  I am voting with my keystrokes.  They re not getting anymore hits from me unless they make their threads more interesting and not because it s automatically up top.
 
 Like GSM, he s into graphics now.  I don t know how he does it, but the entertainment value just shot up.  Griffsmom introduced bullets, that was crafty.
 
 So from now on, no more freebie replies from me just because you re up TOP.

 It has nuthin  to do with the content.  Like you, I support the NNC Website.  In fact, of all the PUT groups and perhaps in all of RV nation, we probably have the best site of all.  But then, what do you expect out of a state that contains Silicon Valley.  It has everything to do with " principles."   After allocating some time assessing the life cycle of why some threads live and some don t, I ve noticed that the TOP feature has a lot to do with it.  It s like free market system versus socialism.  Those two things get along like oil and water.  But, it s your choice.  You will be judged by your colleagues.

OK, so here s a thread that did not seem like it d last more than a day.  Renaming threads?  What kind of a title is that?  But to me, the fact that it has survived without the TOPS element shows its durability and timelessness of the thread.  You have to give it credit.
 
 So here s to Renaming Threads.  It s been dismissed in the past and now it s come roaring back without any corporate subsidy, no  pork barrel, no TOP assistance, just absolutely an honest and hard working thread.
 
 I am gong to shift some Rabble Rousing onto here.  I am protesting the TOP element.  The anti-TOP movement is growing in momentum.
 
 NO MORE TOP.  WE NEED TO STOP.  NO MORE TOP.  WE NEED TO STOP.

 I don t see any [][8D] faces in your post, so I hope you re really not serious.  IMHO, it s better to do away with these extra boards (moving their threads to the General board beforehand) and confine all our RRing to that main General one, which rightfully should remain at the Top.  Website board, I dunno why it has Top status, but certainly the main one deserves it.  I ll post wherever.  []

 It seems to me that what made this thread into what it is today is that it was a reasonable plea to ask people to stop renaming threads just to make them easier to track.
 
 And of course in true NNC style---nearly every entry has renamed the thread.  I think NNC was founded on the principles or reverse psycholoy.  But I may reverse that diagnosis.
