We'll be heading out soon for this. Our stay is from 7/13 thru 7/18 this year.
The festival will be held 7/16-7/18, 2004 at the Watkins Glen racetrack. If you aren't into the wine thing, there are plenty of other activities in the area including Corning Glass and the Watkins Glen Gorge.

Here is the wine festival address:

It was a great time- excellent wines to taste, interesting vendors and some great camping. We attended the festival on Saturday and then took Sunday to visit Corning Glass and we took a ride up Seneca Lake and looked at the vineyards on the edge of the lake. It's really quite beautiful.

If anyone would be interested in getting together for the festival next year, post it here. There are a few people over at PUX that are already making reservations at the cg.

Kathy,

I really wanted to make this this year but we did the eastern ralley instead or should I say part of it. Good thing we did because of all the problems we had at home. It was closer to home. Are you making this a yearly thing? If so please keep me posted. We did have a good time in the finger lakes this year. Some rain, not much.

I doubt it will be a yearly thing. We rarely go the same places more than two years in a row.

Maybe again in a few years...
