colenryWe tow with a Town and Country 3.8 with no factory tow package and it is unbelievably smooth on the road. No sway whatsoever and most of time, I don t even know it s back there.  Wish we had a few more horses ( 185 I think ), but I am very reluctant to try anything else for a tow vehicle.  Bear in mind though, we pull a 99 Coleman Santee that is only about 2000 loaded.  Not sure what another 4 or 5 hundred pounds would do to my ride.  Good luck... life is full of decisions.

colenryI tow my Utah with a Blazer (WITH SWAY BAR!!!, & transmission cooler) every summer 4-5,000 miles plus 6-7 500 mile trip every year with no problem.  Don t expect to be doing 60mph going up the Vail Pass in the Rockies though.[8D]

colenryI am a mechanic @ Dupont which buys only Fords. I own a GMC Truck, An Oldsmobile car, & a Dodge 1500 4 Door Hemi.So that should say what I think about Fords. I like to get where I am going. LOL. The Hemi is roomy inside & you can barley tell the camper is back there. It also has awesome tow mirrors. Gas mileage is only around mid 12s though. 0 percent financing also was a big selling factor as was the 770 drivetrain warranty. Just something to think about. Tom ,03 Hemi 2000 Coleman Fairview
