YEAR FACTORY WARRANTY AS DEALER SAYS THEY GOT IT IN BY REQUEST BUT NEVER COULD SEEL.  SMALL COUNTRY DEALER BUT SOMETHING SMELLS ROTTEN IN DENMARK.  ANY HELP ON EITHER DUTCHMAN QUALITY OR WHAT YOU THINK IS GOING ON.

BRADWAX69I ve heard very little abou the Dutchman campers either here or on other forums.  Its part of Thor now though so you do have some support, is the local dealer going to remain a dealer or are they dropping the line?  Support would be the key issue.

BRADWAX69First I would like to tell you how excited I was that someone was actually asking about Dutchmen.  During my research for a hybrid I noticed there were a lot of Kiwi owners, TM, Bantum and Cubs and a few others but I don t think I ve ever come across a Dutchmen.  I thought for sure we would purchase a Kiwi or Bantum.  Because of my TV I didn t want anything bigger than 19 feet and my husband insisted on dual axels.  Anyways, we ran into a deal we couldn t pass up.

Two weeks ago we bought a new 2003 Four Winds Express 19T.  I was told the Four Winds was made by Dutchmen and owned by Thor.   In doing my reseach I went to www.thorindustries.com and requested a brochure.   It isn t very pretty, no pictures just floor plans, specs, features and options.   If you go to http://www.thorindustries.com/corporate/contactus.html you will be able to get the contact info for Dutchmen Manufacturing (Phone: 574-534-1224) along with all the other Thor companies.  When I called Four Winds they gave me the rep s cell number for my area and I called him directly and got all my questions answered.  I told him what features and options the trailer had and asked what he felt was a good deal and it turns out our deal was $1,000 less.

Sorry I don t have any experience with the model you are considering.  We are very happy with the quality and layout of our hybrid and can t wait to go on our first camping trip.

 Good luck to you.
