RE: Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore

We took the boat ride at Pictured  Rocks National Lakeshore Park in the Michigan Upper Peninsular. Boy was it nice. I really enjoyed the boat ride. We stayed over at Andrus State forest campground this trip near Whitefish point and made a day trip out of it. I did not get to see what the campgrounds were like does anyone know what they are like and which ones they prefer?

We stayed at Indian Lake SP when we went to Pictured Rocks  two summers ago but did drive thru the campground which we glad we had not stayed at.  At IL we had backed up a hill to a large lot surrounded by trees so anything else would not have looked good in comparison.  It was several years ago and I do not remember more except that I did not write down any lots that looked good in the notebook we kept in the car.
