The thing is, none of my ancestors ever lived in California.  all of them have lived in New England, and most of them since the 1600 s.  My family simply doesn t leave, and I m leaving.

A co-worker once told me " You may get out there and discover that you hated it here and never knew it."

 We shall see.

But you HAVE lived in NE!  The only way to truely break this tradition is if your children never live in New England when they grow up.  Or would that be your Grandchildren - since your daughters are fully grown.  Technically they can say, " I grew up in New England"   [:)]

AustinBostonWelcome to the " Midwest" .  There is some prime camping to be had around here.  Just spent a week about an hour south of the twin cities & plan on heading up to Minnesota again at Labor Day.  Big plus (over Iowa) is the state parks generally take reservations (through their own system).  So do the Wisconsin state parks (through Reserve America).  Some good bike trails in both states (MN & WI) as well, which is one of our main pasttimes while camping.  Oh yeah - don t forget the long " o"  in Minnesota.

 Welcome!
