RE: Great Visit With The Morgans from Florida

Former PUT board member friends recently paid us a brief but most enjoyable visit.  Those of you  who attended the  02 Eastern Rally in Townsend may recall Chris and Charlene Morgan and their two delightful sons  Robert (11) and  Andrew (5)  
 
 I was amazed at how much the boys had grown since last summer.  Robert  is a very wonderful big brother who has just come back from one camp and was excited about  getting ready to go to camp again when they got home.   They say 11 year old boys are a handful but  we found Robert very loveable,  and of course, Andrew at five was also a very dear little boy...both were very well-behaved.   Naturally, their stay was too short, but the weather was good and we spent two days exploring NorthEast Georgia by car, and even had a chance to  drop in for an unexpected visit with Chris s  grandmother who lives about 60 miles from us.   She s a sweet lady and  clearly enjoyed the surpise visit from her family.
 
 They are very proud of their new Astro. And rightfully so.   Boy, is that ever an awesome tow vehicle! This one had " everything"  on it and all I can say is that GM is making a terrible mistake in discontinuing it.
 
 The only thing missing was a chance to go camping with  Chris and family.  I really envy Linda Jones and her  Florida campers--sounds like they all have a wonderful time together and I just hope someday to be able to attend one of their get-togethers.

When I think of the Morgans, I remember the super sweet potato pancakes they made for breakfast one morning at the SEPUC Rally last summer in Townsend.   And those little boys of theirs were the nicest little guys.   I m sure that they all enjoyed their stay with the NightOwl family.
