copcarguyWell folks, I was going to go this weekend, would have been on site #4, but it seems the weather forecast isn t favorable for my first outing ( I know, I m a wimp), but I am going to try to stop and say hello and share a beverage or two and bring some dry firewood. See Ya there! - Beer Belly

 copcarguyHello all!!

Beer Belly - I too am watching the weather forcast with great interest.  I got Thursday off and I m bringing the PU home from the storage place to open her up from winter hibernation.  Haven t been in the PU since my North Carolina trip right before Christmas.  I hope nothing has broken, no critters, etc.  I HAD Sunday off, but now I don t...  Looks like we will pack up sometime Saturday.  I am shooting for sleeping there Friday night and spending most of Saturday there.  I hope the rains aren t too bad because I will not be able to open her up to dry out for a week or so.

Andym86:  I got a postcard from KOA with the " buy 1 get 1 free"  deal.  It came at a good time because we just bought a new truck and of course I HAD to put a cap on it right away, as well as hitch, ball mount, Prodigy brake control, yadda, yadda....  [&:][;)]  So saving almost $40 is OK by me!  See you all soon!

GuestBeer Belly  -  I just ran home quick from KOA.  I m on site 45, there are only about 6 RV s in the whole CG.  I am leaving late, late Saturday night because I have to work Sunday...  there will be other times, let s make plans for another KOA meeting where lots of us can attend.  Talk to you soon!!

GuestCCG, Just give me a shout and about a 2-3 week notice. I m at work right now and my truck is covered with ice, hope it s not the same at KOA. I ll be at " The other campground" .- Beer Belly

copcarguyRick, see what you did, you had to go camping early, now you made it snow! - Beer Belly

New York is a jungle.  New York *is a jungle.*  Beneath the columns of
the old rain forest, made of melting macadam, the mean Limpopo of swamped
Ninth Avenue bears an angry argosy of crocs and dragons, tiger fish, noise
machines, sweating rainmakers.  On the corners stand witchdoctors and
headhunters, babbling voodoo-men -- the natives, the jungle-smart natives.
And at night, under the equatorial overgrowth and heat-holding cloud
cover, you hear the ragged parrot-hoot and monkeysqueak of the sirens,
and then fires flower to ward off monsters.  Careful: the streets are
sprung with pits and nets and traps.  Hire a guide.  Pack your snakebite

bit jungle-wise.

light.  Judged by the standards of his older half brother, Baron Vladimir, and
his own children Glossu Rabban and Feyd-Rautha Rabban, Abulurd was a different
sort of man entirely.  We must, however, assess the frequent descriptions of
his weakness, incompetence, and foolhardy decisions in light of the ultimate
failure of House Harkonnen.  Though exiled to Lankiveil and stripped of any
real power, Abulurd secured a victory unmatched by anyone else in his extended
family:  He learned how to be happy with his life.
