My coleman trailer has a garden hose size sink drain. I want to be able to drain this into a standard sewer hook up. Any idea where I can purchase an adapter to make a snug fit to keep the sever gas down?

 Thanks,

jstubbertWhenever we camp at Seacliff, beside each sewer connection, is a grocery plastic bag, full of sand.
Just poke the garden hose down the hole, and plop the bag of sand on top, and voila, no sewer smells.
Otherwise you could pay a visit to camping world, for this

The parts he uses are 1 1/4 PVC and are available at any home or plumbing store.

DiplomatIf you don t have a camping world in your area, you can get the adapter at Wal-Mart too.

The 1 1/4 PVC will not connect to Jeff s trailer.  The drain on the PU is the size of a standard garden hose, not the larger outlet the newer trailers have.

jstubbertWhen we have full hookups, I use a garden hose that is connected to my sink and shower with a wye connection. The third hose is connected to a grey plastic connector that goes into a foam rubber donut. This is put in the sewer connection. Sometimes I can just use the plastic connector. Both of these items were from Camping World. I will see if they list them on their web site.

I did not find the other connection, but I need to go to CW today, so will get a product number for the item.

jstubberthere s the one we have....looks like the donut, but there s a plastic part that covers the hole, with a garden hose screw on adapter.
