 NCSunshineBearbait,
How wide did you make your shelf? What did you make it out of? My DH was thinking of adding a  shelf next to the stove. I like your idea because of the gas grill...too close to the camper for it? We definitely need something but I like the simpler and lighter approach.

 NCSunshineNCSunshine,

I have one almost like it. Very nice, but large and it weights around 35 lbs. Before I got the coleman Road Grill I used it all the time with my two burner little stove.  It is nice.. I have the table also which I really like under the canopy.

I have the outdoor stove but need shelf space and counter space.  Right now I do not want to attach to the camper just something portable.  Do you use the table to store things or eat at?

NCSunshineAnother couple of ideas to add to the mix.

We have a table similar to Bearbait s description.  Ours locks into the old stove channel. and has a swing down leg on the other end.  The stove that came with our Sea Pine was pretty lame, Santa Claus brought me a new Coleman propane with electronic ignition.

Another Coleman product recycled from our tent camping days, towel and small trash bag holders that clamped onto the folding stove legs.  I added two lengths of 1x1x1/16 aluminum angle to the edges of the table.

We use the table just for cooking.

 NCSunshineBearbait,
That does sound like a neat idea. I will tell my DH about it. We were also talking about getting just a rollup table but they just don t seem high enough. And do we get wood or aluminum because if the plastic edges fall off of the aluminum table it would be sharp....wow...decisions, decisions[:)]

NCSunshineWe bought this set up at a local Sporting Goods store and just got home from trying it out in Colorado. We LOVED it! One of the nice things about it is you don t have to use the whole kitchen of you don t need t or have room. On our campout, I just used the center secion and one end and it worked great. The nice thing is that it gives you room to work outside without getting the picnic table all cluttered. Also, it makes a ggreat place for a S Mores.

It s very easy to set up and take down (less than ten minutes).
