But I don t think it will go thru. They want a Septemebr 3 rd closing, and 10 Grand less than what we want ..... I think the closing will not work out ....

birolThey are just negotiating with you. Reject thier offer, but come back with an offer that s lower than your current price. We just got an offer last week for $10,000. less than our asking price. We did reject it, but came down $6000. from our asking price and they accepted that. So lets pray that BOTH houses go through!! [

] We might have been able to get a higher price, but right now it s not worth the hassel of all the cleaning and showing, and child care - birol you know what I mean!!! It s worth taking a lower price to be DONE with it!! [

] I haven t posted anything about it because after having two offers fall through, I m still holding my breath until the home inspection is complete!

Thanks Andrea, I wish you good luck. I don t think I can go down much, as we listed the house at a for sale price and the price got stuck there. I am almost at my lower limit. I think I am going to give them a little , and push for aDecember 15 th closing. If I have to move twice to sell the house and sell it at 5K less than listed, it is not worth it, we can never financially recover from that. We can always buy something else some other time will have to be my motto. We will see how it goes. Our agent is going to come this morning (after 50 minutes) at 9:30. The offer is valid till midnight tonight, and arrrggghhh, I have trucking tonight, meaning I gotta get up at 2 am. I will also have to have that changed or be done with it before 9 pm as that is when I have to sleep.

I don t think this offer is good, but we will see. September 3 rd, Sheeesh ! that is 20 days ago, where is the fire

Ohhhh...I thought you wanted out ASAP! I forgot you have to wait for your new house. Well then just wait until you get your price. Come down $1000. and tell your agent thats it, no lower. And put a contigency on any offer that says your not moving until December.

We told the agent buy they did not want to do it saying it is too late. I think they are counting on us moving to a temporary place till new house closes. I did that once ! It sucked big time [:@]

birolBirol, if you know your house is at a fair price, just sit tight. Some WILL come along.

I sold all 3 of our houses myself because I didnt want to pay a realtor s fee. They really earn their percentage, because there is a lot of work involved and there are ALWAYS complications, many of them unforeseen, even when you use a realtor. If you have a realtor you like and trust, you are already ahead of the game.

Even under the best of circumstances, it is a demanding experience, but hang in there and it will all work out just fine. Patience is the thing to have lots of how. And luck, too, so I wish you lots of it!
