 These guys always work with the builder we are trying to buy the house from and so far they seem to do a good job. I did not get any pressure to lower the price, or move out early or anything. They just asked if I was firm on the closing date, and I gave them my reasoning, and they said, yup, agreed, let them live somewhere temporarily. They had NO difficulty at all making the buyer go up the 9K difference, as at this price, it is just slightly below market price and a good deal with the Microwave, fridge and dishwasher we are throwing in.
 
 I think they are now almost sure that there will be more offers coming as on the second (or third I forgot) we got two offers at the same time. They are playing it cool, I intend to as well. it is a good thing DW is not here to run ideas with me back and forth and doubt ourselves. If it doesn t sell becvause I was too strict with the conditions, it will all be my fault, but you know what, we gotta be able to move to the new house AND afford it. I don t want to be in a situation where we can t afford the new house, or have to move twice in 3 months, and loose a lot of money.
 
 My fingers are crossed, I hope the agent would call em and tell me what is going on. I made a decision not to ever call him and ask. I don t want to be seen as eager to sell.

 birolFirst offer fell thru. They could not make the closing date and wanted us to move out by September 3 rd.  Oh well, I don t think I will be so eager reproting the situation with the current one now. They will all fall thru probably .......

 Get rid of that bad attitude!  You are not in a hurry to move so don t be in a hurry to sell.  You will have more offers, just be patient. [:)]

We have to sell by 21/8 and firm up on the new house, otherwise the deal on the new house is off. Only 11 days to go .......

 It takes time.  Offers can be all over the place.
 
 We had a cash offer on a place for 40,000 grand less than the asking price.  Refused that one.
 
 We did reduce the asking price and we got an offer for 1900 (19 hundred) less than the asking price.  Signing the purchase agreement on Tuesday.
 
 House was on the market for four months.

Arrrgggghhhhhhh They did not fax it yet. Their time limit is tomorrow night and they want to play hard ball. Oh well, let them try it , I already lost one offer, what is one more [:)]

I am just waiting ... nothing else to do. Got a call at 8 pm from my agent saying he is still awaiting the full offer. They made the offer on Saturday, and Sunday night we still did not see it, and it expires tonight, oh well, they must be thinkinng that I will crack under stress and pressure because it expires. We have 11 more huge days to sell this house so I am smiling [&:]

It came .... signed it back. Real estate agent is sure they will be ok with the price we are asking. All other conditions are as we stated in the list. Again there is a gap in closing days. only 45 days this time. We are tryuing to pull the closijg odf the new house back and compromise with the purchaser. We shall see what happens by midnight tonight ...

 The offer is valid until midnight tonight and I did not extend it. So they have till midnight. I have a feeling I will have to stay up late tonight.
