What s wrong with this picture?

I m not talking about the damage on the rear end (which the seller calls " slight" .)

brainpauseI wonder if they know there are bunk support poles?

Not to mention that " slight"  rear end damage has the entire rear cap broken loose and you know ther s going to be a TON of water damage back there.

brainpause

brainpauseThey mentioned in the description about the bunk support poles. However, if they didn t take the time to put the poles up for the picture, how well could this camper have been taken care of? Not very well, I suspect.

brainpausePS:  Birol, are you paying attention?

brainpauseIt also looks like he has it sitting on the A frame coupler, not a jack.  Way low in the front.

Ab Diver

brainpauseNo stabilizing jacks, no bunk supports, trailer not level and resting on coupler, no horizontal awning poles, looks like a broken door hinge on one of the cabinets across from the sink, no propane tank or exterior mounted battery even though he s obviously dry camping, no provision for gray water at all, the screen door is shown both *in place* and *in the storage position*, but the stepper door is up and closed both times, even with a guy still inside the trailer... I wonder if the stepper door even opens? The resolution is not good enough to make out any more detail, but from the looks of this trailer, I d bet the tread isn t the only surface on those tires that has *texture*. [;)] If this is how the owner sets up his trailer, I doubt this guy would recognize structural damage if he saw it-- so I wouldn t bet that s only *cosmetic* damage. And what s that on the drivers side just behind the axle-- a door? For what? It doesn t appear to have a fridge or water heater.

Folks, this guy needs our help. [:o] Let s all chip in and get him a PUT membership before he hurts himself. [;)]

I hope someone will save this on their web site. It s a perfect example of how NOT to set up a trailer while camping.

brainpause

brainpauseIn one of the pictures, you can tell that the jack is folded up, and the coupler is sitting on something.

brainpauseI would run away from this camper, not walk away .......

And yes I am paying attention, assembled the new pc and switched over, no more 7 fans working in the room making tons of noise !

ShirleyT

 brainpauseMy theory:

He had a wreck, insurance company called the PU totalled and he gets a nice big check. He decides to sell this one with " slight damage"  for extra cash. Now with the insurance claim money and the money from the sale of PU he can buy the rest of the patio set that goes with that chair he is sitting in and stay at home and stop mangling campers! [:D][8D][:D]

Michicampers

brainpauseWell, it might be worth it if the Bulldog came with it [;)]!

Turn Key

brainpauseHow much you want to bet those tires that are in " excellent shape"  are original to the trailer?

Can t believe there has been a $1025.00 bid on this thing!!!  I think rather then a PUT membership for the " seller" , how about one for the " bidder" ?  Seems to me that the " seller"  is doing the right thing (getting out of PU s before he kills himself) and the " bidder"  is going to need all the help he can get!!!

Papaso

brainpauseIt s to bad they didn t care for it.

Wayfarer

brainpauseI don t think the  PU is set up for camping.  That has to be the field beside the highway where it landed after the wreck.  Probably just popped open on the second bounce![:(][8D]

" Hi, I m new here! We just bought our first pop-up, and are soooo excited. Only paid $5000 for it, and it s just the right size to tow with our trusty Yugo. A weird thing happened as we towed the trailer home--- the Yugo started smoking and had a " burning"  smell. (Funny, that s never happed before... bad luck, huh?) Was able to stop in time for most of the Stop Signs on the way home, and only slid through two of them. I guess I ll need to practice towing some more. (lol!)

Can anybody tell me where to locate some of those bed support thingies, I think they hold up the, uh, the.. bunks! Yeah, that s the word! Also, I can t seem to open the bottom half of the door.  The tires are almost new, and only flat on the bottom half! (Just Kidding) That s ok, cuz they only have a slow leak on the side of the tires, and I can fix them with that " Fix-a-Flat"  stuff in the can.  I also need to fix a little cosmetic damage to the rear of the trailer. Does anybody know where to locate a rear half of a trailer at? Maybe the dealer? Has anybody made their own? And what do you guys use to hold the roof up with? (Ours uses metal poles that look just like the poles that hold up the awning.) One last question.... The cabinets are all too small-- where am I supposed to store the bulldog that came with the trailer?"
