 The deadline to firm up for the new house is tomorrow, I have to inform the builder that we won t be buying it after all, it is going to be soooo much fun. Also the purchaser is going to be very pleasantly surprised [:@]

 This is REALLY common around here birol - so don t get discouraged!  The market is really hot right now, so banks are overflowing with appilcations.  I guess around here it is averaging 3 weeks to get a bank home appraiser out to appraise a house.  Our morgage guy said he d offer the appraiser an extra $200. to get out within a week to appraise the house we want to buy.  I told him to go for it, I ll gladly pay the extra $$$ for a quicker closing.
 
 
 Also - all this nonsense is most likely why selling a house is supposed to be one of the most stressful things a person can do, along with moving, having a new baby, and death of a loved one.   At least your DW is not expecting!!!  [:D][;)]

I think this wasn t meant to be anyways ..... Wife not signing the paper and I just spoke to my real estate agent, and he said, it will go thru as they are waiting the paper from the bank to be faxed any moment now. But he said, if it doesn t happen within couple of hours, he will probably not give them any more time, which I agree. They had almost 3 days to make up for one day of loss ......
 
 I shall keep you informed :) And Andrea thought she had difficulties selling the house [8D][8D][8D]

 angelsmom10I was supposed to get a call at around 2:30 to 3 pm. It is 4:15 pm and still no call. That means no waiver .... great, I am so patient ..... I could even be a doctor [8D]

Hilarious, the sales lady (very nice lady by the way), just popped up, very concerned whether the deal was firmed up or not.  She is trying to contact the real estate agent herself as well ......     A double sigh .......

 Their bank approved them but the low downpayment insurer did not yet send the approval papers. Back log because of the blackout. The purchaser was verbally told he would be approved but no paper yet. So here I am waiting for the deal to fall apart after the purchaser gets approved ! The new house sales lady extended our deadline till Monday in case things can work out !
 
 I need another of those big beers !

 The purchaser  waived the condition ..... So they have now basically said they will buy the house. Our real estate agent said, he will go over the waiver in the morning, but said it was already checked by his staff and that it is legally binding. Tomrorow morning we get the " SOLD"  sign ...... He never asked about the copy of the sale agreement which should also be signed by my wife. He said, it si now a done deal .... Maybe, just maybe I am thinking, if the lawyers look at this stuff shortly before the closing, we might get that signature for them when they realize it is missing .... After all, title will change hands much later. So I am keeping my fingers corssed. Days are working to our advantage now. Only 2 weeks before she comes back.  I am holding my breath, and as tomorrow is the last day to firm up for the new house, I am going to let it firm up and hope that noone will realize what is missing before we can put it in there [:)].
 
 With enough good luck, I might be able to pull it off, that would be so great ! Now if babette comes and says she is not selling, all hell will break loose of course, but I don t think she will do that.
 
 So, fingers crossed ...... Only 14 days to go !
